About UsKeith Roberts FCA email - keith@egan.co.uk Having qualified with a small practice in 1985, Keith worked for a large international practice for seven years where he mainly worked in audit and business services. His other principal experience included a spell working overseas in Zambia and a nine month secondment as a management consultant, where he worked on assignments at Granada Studios and Pilkington Glass and other financial planning and IT projects. He is the principal at Egan Roberts concentrating on the business advisory service and day to day liason with clients as well as financial services. He is married with three boys. Steven Boswell email - steven@egan.co.uk Steven is the Firm's longest serving member of staff, having been with the Firm since its inception in 1986. He has his own large portfolio of clients, his particular specialist areas being new business start-ups and also professional and medical practices. He is a qualified financial advisor and has considerable experience in most areas of taxation concentrating on all aspects of income tax, PAYE and National Insurance. Steven who is married to Tracey with two boys is a qualified FA football and ECB cricket coach. He has been a season ticket holder for many years at Blackburn Rovers and has fond memories of the championship winning seasons of 1975 and 1995. In his spare time he can mostly be found playing golf and trying to get his handicap down at Wilpshire Golf Club Andrew W Jackson FCCA email - andrew@egan.co.uk Andrew has been with the Firm since 1988 and qualified as a Certified Accountant in 1995. He is married to Ruth and has two girls. He is treasurer of Clitheroe FC a local non-league football team and when not spending time with his family enjoys playing Golf and watching a wide variety of sports. He now runs a mixed portfolio of clients ranging from sole traders to large private family companies. He is a qualified financial advisor and has particular responsibility within the practice for advising clients on accounting systems, being our SAGE specialist, and the implementation of systems. Chris Brown ACCA email - chris@egan.co.uk One of the senior members of staff, with expertise in auditing & forensic accounting. He qualified as a Certified Accountant in 2003. In his spare time he enjoys participating in cricket, football, tennis, working out at the gym and he also follows Blackburn Rovers. Martin Rimmer email - martin@egan.co.uk Martin has been with the firm since 1987. He concentrates mainly on incomplete records, taxation matters and specialises in various accounting software. In his spare time he follows Clitheroe FC, plays crown green bowls at Ribblesdale Wanderers, enjoys local theatrical productions and maintaining his allotment. Trevor Young Cert PFS, BA email - trevor@egan.co.uk Trevor has many years experience in Financial Services, having managed Banks throughout the North of England and more recently, recruiting and training financial advisers for a multi-national Banking group. Trevor joined us earlier this year and is enjoying meeting our new and established customers to help them make the most out of their savings, investments and pensions. A keen hill walker and enthusiastic but limited tennis player, he ensures his wife never has to make a victory speech in any mixed doubles event they enter! The team is made up of a further nine members all playing their part in the running of the office. Katie Taylor, Lisa Westwell, Maryam Mulla and Amy Rennie carry out much of the audit work and prepare sole trader, partnership and small limited company accounts in conjunction with Bill O'Neill. They also assist in the preparation of self assessment tax returns. Michelle Mason is responsible for the preparation of weekly and monthly payrolls assisted by Becky Hindle. Nicola Smith is a financial advisor and is our resident mortgage expert. She is presently responsible for the administration of the financial services company and assisting the other financial advisors with illustrations and client reports. She is ably assisted by Elizabeth Brignall.
